Na madrugada desta sexta (13), o The Game Awards coroou Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice como o melhor título de 2019. Os exclusivos do Switch também tiveram seu espaço na premiação e levaram três troféus para a Big N. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate foi eleito "Melhor jogo de luta"; Fire Emblem: Three Houses foi reconhecido como "Melhor jogo de estratégia"; e Luigi’s Mansion 3 sagrou-se como "Melhor jogo para a família".
